               PUBLIC ACT NO. 97-17


AN  ACT  CONFIRMING  AND ADOPTING VOLUMES 1 TO 13,
INCLUSIVE, OF THE  GENERAL  STATUTES,  REVISED  TO
1997.


    Be  it  enacted  by  the  Senate  and House of
Representatives in General Assembly convened:
    Section  1.  (NEW) Volumes 1 to 13, inclusive,
of the general statutes of Connecticut, revised to
1958, consolidated, codified, arranged and revised
to   January   1,   1997,   by   the   legislative
commissioners  under  the provisions of subsection
(g) of section 2-56 of the  general  statutes  and
published  under  the  title  "General Statutes of
Connecticut, Revision of 1958, Revised  to  1997",
including    the    consolidation,   codification,
arrangement and revision of the public acts of the
state  from  1959  through  1996,  inclusive,  and
errata pages 29, 115, 165,  179,  206,  446,  593,
710,  838,  857,  890  and 975 in volume 9, errata
pages 207, 235 and 869  in  volume  10  containing
sections 75 and 133 of public act 96-256, codified
as sections 33-1101 and 33-1200, respectively, and
errata  pages  689  and  935  in  volume  11,  are
adopted, ratified, confirmed and enacted.
    Sec.  2.  This  act shall take effect from its
passage.
