2010 Higher Education Governance Structure and CT State University System

This study examined: 1) Connecticut's higher education governance structure; and 2) back-office administration and cost savings efforts made to date in the Connecticut State University System.

Status

The PRI committee approved a report on higher education governance structure in December 2010. The final report, including findings, recommendations, and agency responses, is available at the link below. The PRI committee raised a bill (Raised S.B. No. 1026) to implement the report’s recommendation.

The second part of the study, on Connecticut State University System administrative functions was presented to the committee on March 1, 2011.
