Performance Measurement Project

Project Summary

 

Purpose:      To develop and implement for the Departments of Social Services (“DSS”) and Children and Families (“DCF”) a performance measurement system for Connecticut Community KidCare program (“KidCare”).  The Contractor will develop a performance measurement system that includes a comprehensive set of performance indicators that reflect the shared goals for the KidCare system of care and have sound psychometric properties to monitor KidCare.  The Contractor will also assist with the implementation of the performance measurement system.

 

 

Goal:              Once implemented, the performance measurement system will provide data at the state, regional, and DCF local area levels for the purpose of monitoring the overall access, quality and cost-effectiveness of KidCare including but not limited to the monitoring of the performance of the Departments’ administrative and clinical service contractors and the production of a periodic KidCare performance report card.

 

 

Funding:       The Center for Health Care Strategies, Inc. (CHCS) has approved a grant (#99556) in the amount of $250,028.00 for the purpose of this project.
