Continuing Legislative Committee on State Planning and Development

The Continuing Legislative Committee on State Planning and Development establishes broad goals and objectives for the state's physical and economic development and transmits them to the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management. The committee reviews the five-year Conservation and Development Policies Plan, which the Office of Policy and Management secretary prepares. It also reviews interim requests to change the plan, considers how proposed changes affect the state goals and objectives, and determines if legislative action is needed. (CGS §4-60d.)
