RE:	Criminal Background Checks

 

Recently, the Law Revision Commission submitted a report and proposed bill concerning criminal background checks for noncriminal justice purposes to you for your consideration. Since submitting the report, I have received comments from some of the agencies affected by the statutes that were revised in the proposed bill.

In accordance with these comments, I would like to make revisions to one of the sections in the present draft of the bill, and would also like to add several new sections to the bill. I am enclosing a draft of these changes and additions with this memorandum.

Please let me know if you have any questions about either the proposed bill or these changes to it.
