A meeting of the Law Revision Commission Advisory Committee on Confidentiality
of Medical Records has been set for Wednesday, November 18, 1998, from 4:00 p.m. to
6:00 p.m. in Hearing Room 1A in the Legislative Office Building, Hartford, CT. The
Agenda is as follows:
1. Approval of minutes of November 4 meeting. (Attachment A.)
2. Review of remainder of Uniform Health-Care Information Act, commencing with
section 5-101 concerning notice of information practices.
3. Other business.
I am enclosing an updated "working draft" that includes new provisions
attempting to address various matters under discussion, a copy for your information of the
recent decision of Falco v. Institute of Living, 50 Conn. App. 654 (October, 1998),
and comments to an earlier working draft received from Martha Everett Meng of Murtha,
Cullina, Richter and Pinney.
If there is other material that you would like circulated, please forward it to
me.
