One of the
legislative mandates of the
Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission is to encourage
Latino representation at all levels of state government.
To meet this
mandate, we work to manage and grow a pool of qualified
candidates who
are interested
in appointment to state boards, councils, commissions or task
forces as well as positions in public service
and in the private sector. This candidate pool is called the
Talent Bank.
All
Latinos interested in being recommended for appointments are
invited to complete our
online
Talent Bank form and provide information about
themselves and their interests.
As
opportunities arise, we will review our database for
possible candidates and make appropriate recommendations to fill
available vacancies. While joining the Talent Bank does not
guarantee
appointment, it does afford you an opportunity to be considered
for appointment. If you are
selected, we will consult with you prior to submitting
your name.
Get involved! Be
a part of the
advancement of Latinos in Connecticut.
