Ed W. Rodríguez is the President of Penmar Industries, Inc., a Norwalk, CT based and headquartered company with facilities in Erlanger, KY. Penmar is a leading manufacturer of pressure sensitive tapes and labels. In addition, we are also a major supplier of packaging, shipping, and industrial supplies to companies across the Northeast. Penmar is an industry leader, bringing customers the highest quality stock and custom tapes, labels and packaging solutions with a commitment to offering only the best customer service and unparalleled personal touch. Ed has over 29 years of international sales/marketing, internal controls, and general management experience in both profit and nonprofit sectors. He has held executive management positions and consulted for firms such as Union Carbide Corporation, 3V Incorporated, and Verizon. Most recently, Ed was a founding member and President of Sandoval Associates, a world-class, full service management-consulting firm serving clients in all areas of business management and value creation.

Ed is a recognized expert on a range of subjects such as strategic planning, workforce and supplier diversity, business development, and marketing/communications. He has facilitated and lectured on these topics at symposiums and conferences all over the nation including the Dolan School of Business, Hispanic Support Organization, CMSDC Trade Expo, and United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Rodríguez has a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico. He also holds an MBA from Dolan School of Business, at Fairfield University, and is a graduate of Union Carbide’s Executive Management Program. Ed has and continues to serve on many boards some of which are: the Governors Small Business Advisory Council, Music and Arts Center for Humanity, Housatonic Community College Foundation, Fairfield County Community Foundation, Universal Healthcare Foundation Advisory Board, and the Latino Puerto Rican Affairs Commission, among others.

Finally, Ed is an active member of the Stratford, CT community.
