Clarisa J. Cardone is the Senior Legislative Secretary at the Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission for the State of Connecticut since the Fall of 2004.  She is responsible for answering the switchboard and processing all calls accordingly.  She prepares all packages for the monthly Commission meetings, transcribes the minutes taken at these meeting and coordinates all correspondence and meetings for the Executive Director.

Prior to joining the LPRAC, Clarisa was an HR Coordinator for The Wiremold Company in West Hartford, CT.  Her experiences before joining LPRAC include liaison between employees and insurance companies on problems with their insurance through direct access to the insurance data bases as well as payroll changes for weekly payroll processing.

She is a member of the Hispanic American Cultural Council, and past Vice President of the Italian Floridian Women's Society.  Clarisa is trilingual in English, Spanish and Italian languages.  She is also a Notary Public for the State of Connecticut.

She and her family reside in the town of West Hartford.
