10/5/06- Three new officers joined the ranks of the State Capitol Police Department on Friday and were officially sworn in. Chief Michael J. Fallon welcomed the officers and praised them for making the decision to join a profession that can make a difference in the lives of those whom they protect and serve. These are the first of several new officers expected to join the ranks of the SCPD as the department faces significant attrition over the new few years.
