Remembering 9/11 through the words and images of children

In the years immediately following the September 11 attacks, the Commission asked children and youth from throughout Connecticut to express their feelings about the event in words and images. Their work they submitted touched not only on 9/11 but also Hurricane Katrina, neighborhood crime, and other aspects of their personal safety. We offer a collection of some of their work and an analysis by Commission Executive Director Elaine Zimmerman. Download as a PDF
