CoA ~ Partnerships

The Commission fills a unique, independent advocacy role within state government. It builds bridges, opens and encourages dialogue and seeks solutions by working with influential groups including the legislative and executive branches of state government, local government, the business community, state and local organizations that serve critical needs of older adults and statewide public/private sector coalitions such as the Connecticut Elder Action Network (CEAN) and Connecticut Long-Term Care Advisory Council.

Partnerships Include:Kate McEvoy, Deputy Director of the South Central Area Agency on Aging and Julie Evans Starrs participate as panel members at the CEAN 2006 Legislative Wrap-Up.
