Phyllis Zlotnick, a long-time advocate for persons with disabilities, thanks the audience after being recognized for her work.
Claude Holcomb, one of Connecticut's most well-known advocates for persons with disabilities received an award for his work and commented about the importance of Olmstead. Mr. Holcomb organized a 30-person march to the Capitol as part of the Olmstead anniversary observance. With him is Jim McGaughey, executive director of the Office of Protection and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities.
