AN ACT CONCERNING DETENTION OF CHILDREN AND DISPROPORTIONATE MINORITY CONTACT IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM.

To: (1) Revise detention provisions with respect to children in the juvenile justice system, and provide for such children to be placed in or returned to locations in this state when appropriate, (2) revise record retention and erasure requirements with respect to delinquency and family with service needs proceedings in the Superior Court, and (3) require annual reports from designated agencies regarding disproportionate minority contact in the juvenile justice system.
