Toni Bosley - With more than twenty years of experience in
municipal, non-profit and human service environments, Ms. Bosley
has and continues to be an integral part of planning, organization
and development of grant administration and human service delivery
implementation for the Greater New Haven community. Her primary
responsibilities include researching, planning, developing and
directing all grant activities for the Town of Hamden. In that
capacity she pursues and secures grants from state and federal
sources.
During her work with the City of New Haven’s Housing Authority,
Ms. Bosley spearheaded and facilitated the design and writing of
all HUD mandated revisions to the 1993, 1995, and 1997 Elm Haven
Community Revitalization and Supportive Services component of the
federally funded HOPE VI grant application.
As part of her service to the community, Ms. Bosley participates
on a number of boards and committees including the Cold Spring
School - Financial Aid and Student Loan Committee, the Dixwell/
Newhallville Community Based Police Management Team Committee
(Chair),
Bridgeport, Connecticut YWCA Loan Fund Committee (Advisor), New
Haven Regional Sickle Cell Chapter (Fundraising Committee Chair),
and the Elm Haven Resident Council Resource Development Committee.
Ms. Bosley was appointed to the African-American Affairs
Commission in November 2003 by Governor John G. Rowland.
