AAAC ANNUAL "A WORK IN PROGRESS"

During the month of February, in celebration of Black History Month, the state of Connecticut African-American Affairs Commission holds its annual "A Work In Progress" event.  This year the event will be held February 6th - 10th in the State Capitol/Legislative Office building concourse.

The event provides an opportunity for many organizations to gain visibility, display their contributions and share information.  It affords Legislators, legislative staff and the public a chance to become familiar with governmental, nonprofit, historic, cultural and health organizations that have service connections and/or historical significance to the African-American community.

The following organizations have generously agreed to donate their time at this year's event.  Please stop by and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to ask questions and engage in an informal dialogue with these experts representing a wide range of specialty areas and interests.
