CONVERSION TABLES

USER'S GUIDE

 

 

The following Conversion Tables show the statute section number or numbers assigned to the public acts of the 2005 and 2006 regular and special sessions of the General Assembly. 

 

Where any public act provisions have not been codified the reason is indicated in a general way, as follows:

 

Approp. signifies an appropriation section.

Eff. signifies a provision which merely determines when a law shall take or be in effect.

O. signifies "obsolete", in which term is included not merely those laws which by their terms have ceased to be operative, but also those which in fact, for any reason, have ceased to be effective or necessary.

Rd. signifies that a law has been repealed by express provision.
 

Rg. signifies a repealing provision.

S. signifies that a public act section has not been codified because it is special in nature, but that the section remains in full force and effect according to its terms.
 

V. signifies a validating provision.

Vetoed. signifies that a public act was vetoed by the Governor and not repassed by the General Assembly.

Void. signifies that a section did not become law.
