The House of Representatives was called to order at 11: 46 o'clock a. m. , Representative Janowski of the 56th District in the Chair.

Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Mark M. Khalil, a 6th grade student at Washington Montessori School in Washington, Connecticut.

The following is the prayer:

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, watch over Your Representatives today as they deliberate the needs of our people. Allow them to be sensitive to those concerns that touch the lives of so many. Amen.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Matthew M. Caruso and Julius K. Chiang-Boechmann, 7th grade students at Washington Montessori School in Washington, Connecticut.
