The House of Representatives was called to order at 11: 32 o'clock a. m. , Representative Genga of the 10th District in the Chair.

Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, John A. Orofino of Hartford, Connecticut.

The following is the prayer:

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we come together today and reflect upon Your infinite goodness in dealing with Your people. Help us in our deliberations to seek Your wisdom to resolve all difficulties for the good of Your people. Amen.
