AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE INSTITUTE FOR THE HISPANIC FAMILY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in amounts not exceeding two hundred fifty thousand dollars in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes. The proceeds of said bonds shall be used by the Department of Economic and Community Development for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the Institute for the Hispanic Family in Hartford for the renovation of the historic Frank and Katherine Secoll House for a therapeutic preschool classroom and space for parenting classes.
Statement of Purpose:
To strengthen families in Hartford and improve the neighborhood with a renovation project that will create jobs.
