The House of Representatives was called to order at 12: 01 o'clock a. m. , Representative Lopes of the 24th District in the Chair.

Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, John N. Barry of Southington, Connecticut.

The following is the prayer:

Let us pray. Heavenly Father, help us to be diligent in judging the various issues coming forth so that the just needs of our people may be met. Amen.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by John N. Barry of Southington, Connecticut.
