The House of Representatives was called to order at 11: 27 o'clock a. m. , Representative Ryan of the 139th District in the Chair.
Prayer was offered by the guest Chaplain, Ann-Louise DeSorbo of East Haven, Connecticut.
The following is the prayer:
Let us pray. Almighty Father, this year brings us many challenges and expectations. Be with us during those moments of pressure as well as those moments of achievement. Grant us sound judgment so that the decisions we make will benefit our faithful constituents. Amen.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ann-Louise DeSorbo of East Haven, Connecticut.
