Explanation
The amendment eliminates the revenue gain of less than $10, 000 to the state and increases revenue to municipalities of less than $10, 000 by requiring that any fine revenue generated by infractions of the underlying bill be remitted to the municipality in which the violation occurred.
The amendment also requires that municipal tax collectors include a notice of the requirement to affix house numbers with property tax bills. This is not anticipated to have a fiscal impact on municipalities.
