AN ACT CONCERNING A STATE MILITARY ACCOUNT FOR MORALE, WELFARE AND RECREATION PROGRAMS.

SUMMARY:

This bill establishes a separate, non-lapsing “Army National Guard state morale, welfare and recreation account” in the General Fund to hold any money the law requires, including proceeds of state military morale, welfare, and recreation programs. The adjutant general must spend the funds to operate these programs.

EFFECTIVE DATE: July 1, 2012
