AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

SUMMARY:

This bill requires the governor annually to proclaim the second week of September as Health Information Technology Week to recognize the value of information technology and management systems in improving the state's health care system. It requires suitable exercises to be held in the State Capitol and elsewhere as the governor designates.
