OLR Bill Analysis
AN ACT REQUIRING THE ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF REPORTS REGARDING GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY BY THE COMMISSION ON INNOVATION AND PRODUCTIVITY.
This bill requires the Commission on Innovation and Productivity for State Government to submit its annual report and associated documents to legislators and legislative committees by e-mail.
By law, the commission must send the full report by February 1 of each year to the governor, General Assembly, Appropriations and Government Administration and Elections committees, and upon request, to a legislator. It must also send a summary of the annual report to every legislator, but if the summary is longer than two pages, it must send a report notification instead.
EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon passage
