1. S.B. No. 24 AN ACT CONCERNING EDUCATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS.

For the convenience of the committee and the public, the committee will be hearing testimony on Senate Bill 24 limited to the following subjects: (1) teachers, including, certification (Sec 26-28, 33, 37-49), tenure (Sec 29), performance evaluations (Sec 30), subjects for collective bargaining (Sec. 31), teachers' retirement (Sec 32), recruitment grants (Sec 17), and professional development (Sec 24), and (2) miscellaneous non-financial topics, including vocational-technical school governance structure (Sec 53-71) and early childhood education.
