AN ACT CONCERNING THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT HEALTH CENTER.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Department of Higher Education shall study issues concerning The University of Connecticut Health Center new construction and renovation and the UConn health network initiatives, as defined in section 10a-109c of the general statutes. Not later than January 1, 2012, the Commissioner of Higher Education shall report on such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher education in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.


This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

To study issues concerning The University of Connecticut Health Center new construction and renovation and the UConn health network initiatives.
