AN ACT CONCERNING REQUIREMENTS FOR SURPLUS LINES INSURERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish requirements that are consistent with the federal Nonadmitted and Reinsurance Reform Act for authorized surplus lines insurers doing business in the state.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish requirements that are consistent with the federal Nonadmitted and Reinsurance Reform Act for authorized surplus lines insurers doing business in the state.
