AN ACT CONCERNING IDENTITY THEFT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to increase the monetary penalty for identity theft by one hundred dollars for each offense.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase the monetary penalty for identity theft.
