AN ACT CONCERNING LICENSURE OF ADVANCED DENTAL HYGIENE PRACTITIONERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 379a of the general statutes be amended to provide for the licensure of advanced dental hygiene practitioners by the Department of Public Health.

Statement of Purpose:

To increase access to dental care for underserved populations through recognition and use of advanced dental hygiene practitioners in public health settings.
