AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF STUDENTS ON LOCAL AND REGIONAL BOARDS OF EDUCATION.

SUMMARY:

This bill requires each local and regional board of education to include at least two students from public high schools located in the district as nonvoting members. The number of students from each high school must be determined by the respective boards and the students must be selected in a board-prescribed manner.
