AN ACT INCREASING THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR MOTOR VEHICLE LIABILITY INSURANCE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to increase the minimum automobile liability insurance requirements.

Statement of Purpose:

Current liability amounts do not provide sufficient coverage for accidents. The bill will increase the minimum liability requirements to an amount determined to be sufficient.
