AN ACT CONCERNING NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL MEETINGS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That subsection (a) of section 1-225 of the general statutes be amended to exempt municipalities with a population of thirty thousand or less from the requirement of posting notices and minutes on the municipal web site.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide relief to smaller municipalities from certain requirements under the Freedom of Information Act.
