AN ACT CONCERNING PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RUNAWAY YOUTH.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That there be established a task force to study the issue of parental responsibility for damages caused by a sixteen or seventeen-year-old runaway youth, and to determine the extent to which parents should have responsibility for trying to bring such runaway youth back home.

Statement of Purpose:

To study the issue of parental responsibility with respect to runaway youth.
