AN ACT CREATING FAIR AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE RATES FOR DEFINED TERRITORIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require insurance companies to establish fair automobile insurance rates for defined territories.

Statement of Purpose:

To reduce the weight of individual territorial loss/cost data in setting territorial rate classifications for individual automobile insurance rates.
