AN ACT CONCERNING HUMANE EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to allow the Humane Society, ASPCA or other animal welfare organization to provide free classes about pet care and humane animal treatment at elementary and high schools.
Statement of Purpose:
To educate students on pet care and the proper treatment of animals.
