AN ACT CONCERNING STATE LAND WHERE HUNTING IS PERMITTED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Department of Environmental Protection from reducing the amount of state land where hunting is permitted without providing for an equal amount of such land elsewhere and that such amount of land not be less than the percentage of state land permitted for hunting as of July 1, 2008.
Statement of Purpose:
To maintain the amount of state land where hunting is permitted.
