AN ACT CONCERNING INCREASES IN HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE POLICY PREMIUMS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit insurers from increasing homeowners insurance policy premiums if a damage claim submitted is related to a home invasion.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit insurers from increasing homeowners insurance policy premiums if a damage claim submitted is related to a home invasion.
