AN ACT CONCERNING POSTING LEGAL NOTICES ON THE WEB SITE OF A MUNICIPALITY.

SUMMARY:

This bill gives municipalities the option to post legal notices on their website instead of advertising them in a daily or weekly newspaper. It retains their authority to advertise in a newspaper. Under the bill, any legal notice a municipality posts on its website must be in a conspicuous place.
