INCARCERATED AND SUPERVISED OFFENDERS WHO ARE VETERANS

You asked about the number of offenders incarcerated or under supervision by the Department of Correction (DOC) who are veterans.

According to information provided by DOC, on March 19, 2008 there were 552 incarcerated inmates and 108 offenders under supervision by DOC in the community who reported that they had performed military service (active or veteran status). Table 1 displays this information by the offender's location and status.
