Explanation

The amendment eliminates an exemption to a zoning regulation requirement regarding the establishment of community residences for persons receiving mental health or addiction services paid or provided by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) . To the extent that this delays or precludes siting of a community residence and/or requires DMHAS to incur increased costs for alternative site development, then a fiscal impact would result.
