AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY-BASED HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to provide a tax credit of up to five hundred dollars to taxpayers who install solar, geothermal or other alternative energy-based heating and cooling systems in their homes.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax credits for the installation of solar, geothermal or other alternative energy-based heating and cooling systems.
