AN ACT CONCERNING CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE REGISTRATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Section 21a-318 of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2008):
An application for registration pursuant to this chapter shall be made upon a form provided by the Commissioner of Consumer Protection and shall be accompanied by a fee of [ten] twenty dollars for [annual] biennial registration, except that a practitioner who obtains such registration pursuant to the practitioner's employment with a municipality, this state or the federal government shall not be required to pay the fee.
Sec. 2. Section 21a-321 of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2008):
Registration may be renewed by application to the Commissioner of Consumer Protection. Renewal applications shall be in such form as the commissioner shall prescribe and shall be accompanied by [an annual] a biennial renewal fee of [ten] twenty dollars. A separate fee shall be required for each place of business or professional practice where the practitioner stores, distributes or dispenses controlled substances.
