"AN ACT CONCERNING THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS FOR PROSECUTION OF CERTAIN SEXUAL ASSAULT OFFENSES USING DNA EVIDENCE. "
After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:
"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2007) Whenever a person who has registered as a sexual offender under chapter 969 of the general statutes changes such person's address to an address out-of-state (1) such person shall notify the police department for the town in this state where such person resides of such person's planned change of residence and the name of the town in the other state where such person plans to reside, and (2) the police department for the town in this state where such person resides shall notify the town in the other state where such person plans to reside of such person's planned change of residence. "
