AN ACT CONCERNING THE PURCHASE OF FIREARM AMMUNITION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 29-37j of the general statutes be amended to prohibit a person purchasing firearm ammunition with the intent to sell or transfer such ammunition to a person who is prohibited from purchasing or possessing a firearm.

Statement of Purpose:

To limit illegal firearms use by prohibiting "straw purchases" of ammunition.
