AN ACT REQUIRING A PERMIT TO SELL FIREARM AMMUNITION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to provide that no person shall sell firearm ammunition unless such person has a permit to sell firearm ammunition issued by the Department of Public Safety.

Statement of Purpose:

To regulate the sale of firearm ammunition by requiring a person to have a state permit to sell ammunition.
