AN ACT CONCERNING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTROL INVASIVE PLANTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the sum of five hundred thousand dollars be appropriated to the Department of Environmental Protection, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, for use in invasive plant remediation and control and to implement the recommendations of the Invasive Plants Council.

Statement of Purpose:

To fund the remediation and control of invasive plants.
