AN ACT CONCERNING JURISDICTION OVER FOREIGN CORPORATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That subsection (f) of section 33-929 of the general statutes be amended to provide that a foreign corporation shall be subject to suit in this state on any cause of action arising out of a tortious act outside this state causing injury to person or property within this state, except as to a cause of action for defamation of character arising from the act.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that a foreign corporation shall be subject to suit in this state on any cause of action arising out of a tortious act outside this state causing injury to person or property within this state, except as to a cause of action for defamation of character arising from the act.
