AN ACT CONCERNING FLEXIBLE-FUELED VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that all new motor vehicles sold in the state after January 1, 2011, be equipped with flexible-fuel technology capable of alternating between different sources of fuel.
Statement of Purpose:
To promote flexible-fuel technology to reduce motor vehicle emissions and increase fuel economy.
